关于申请2018年度广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金的通知

Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship in JiNanUniversity of 2018

各研究生培养单位：

为进一步推进我省高等教育国际化，加快发展我省来华留学工作，我省从2013年起以省政府名义设立广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金。根据《广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金管理暂行办法》，现开始受理2018广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金申请，有关具体事宜如下：

In order to promote the internalization of Guangdong High Education, advancing the development of overseas students’ management, the government decided to set up scholarship for international students studying in universities of Guangdong. The relevant requirements of application are hereby notified as follows.

一、评选对象

我校在读全日制硕士研究生和博士研究生。

full-time Master and Doctoral students

二、报名截止时间：2018年6月4日

Deadline of application: June 4, 2018

三、奖励标准

博士研究生层次教育的优秀外国留学生，奖学金标准为30000元人民币/人；硕士研究生层次教育的优秀外国留学生，奖学金标准为20000元人民币/人。

Amount : ￥30000 per academic year for Doctoral students.

￥20000 per academic year for Master students.

四、奖励名额

博士：4人

硕士：25人

The number of reward：4Doctoral students，25Master students.

五、评选条件

（一）申请人须拥有外国国籍，持有有效外国护照并符合在华留学的相关要求，年龄在40周岁以下。

（二）申请人应在广东省具有招收来华留学生资格的普通高等学校就读，对华友好，身体健康。

（三）申请人应当已在就读高校接受正式学历教育课程一年（含一年）以上，遵纪守法，勤奋好学，成绩优良，品行端正，没有违反中国法律法规和违反校规校纪行为纪录。

（四）申请人应学习成绩优异，具有相应的汉语水平并提供相关证明（部分直接用英语授课的专业可适当放宽条件），当年度必修课课程成绩均为良好以上。

（五）在学期间已享受或正在享受中国政府（及）其他各类奖学金（不含全勤奖、优秀生奖等鼓励性奖励）的外国留学生不再享受此项奖励。

Eligibility for application

The applicant must satisfy following conditions：

1．Full-time Master and Doctoral students of Jinan University（not includes freshman）who are aged under 40-year-old.

2. International students with foreign passports and valid visa.

3. Have not awarded any other scholarship during this academic year.

4. Passed in all compulsory subjects and no disciplinary records in the last academic year.

5. Mastering good level of Chinese language skills and are able to provide relevant statement (except for students studying in English-taught programs).

六、评选程序

（一）符合条件的学生，采取自主申报和院系推荐的方式，于2018年6月4日下午下班前；电子填写《广东省政府来粤留学生奖学金申请表》（详见附件1，证件照片必须粘贴在指定区域），附上2017-2018学年成绩单（必须为学校研究生院培养管理办公室打印盖章版）、在读证明、护照复印件（个人信息及有效签证页）、汉语能力证明，向所在学院提交申请（纸质版及电子版均需提交，电子版装入一个文件夹中，以姓名+学号+学院命名）,纸质版切勿使用订书机装订材料；

（二）学院受理学生的申请材料后，对学生的实际情况进行审核，并整理好申请学生的纸质版及电子版材料（注意填写好学生申请表的第15项学习主要课程及效果评价），学生将成绩单补齐后，结合学生的在校表现评选出推荐候选人，将结果在学院内公示无异议后，于2018年6月15日前将学生《申请表》、成绩单及学院排好序的推荐人《汇总表》（详见附件2）等纸质版材料，由学院负责人签字盖章后报研究生院（行政楼432室），切勿使用订书机装订材料；同时发送《申请表》电子版（要求与纸质版填写内容一致，每一项都必须填写，包括第15项学习主要课程及效果评价、导师或班主任评语及意见、就读院系推荐意见）

所有推荐学生的电子版材料放入个人独立的文件夹，以学生姓名+学号命名后，统一放入一个以学院命名的文件夹中）。

 (三）学校对申请材料进行最终审核，确定推荐名单并进行公示；

（四）学校将推荐获奖学生以多于分配名额的10%报送省教育厅和省财厅，排序较后的学生存在无法获奖的可能，最终获奖学生名单由省教育厅和省财厅审核后才可确定。

The necessary documents for application include:

1. Application Form For Guangdong Government Outstanding  International Student Scholarship（Please download the form from this page）, identification photo is required to be pasted on the form

2.Student certificate（Academic Affairs Office）

3.Postgraduate programmers official transcript of academic record（Academic Affairs Office）

4. Copy of passport (include pages of personal information and valid visa)

5. Statement of Chinese Language Level if possible.

Please hand in the above documents to your counselor assistant who is responsible for the scholarship before June 4^th, overdue is inadmissible.

Deadline: Please submit application form(both original and electronic versions), transcript, personal statement, school attendance(only original version), essay(only electronic version) and the original transcript of 2017-2018 academic year before June 15^thto your counselor assistant that is responsible for the scholarship.

Ps: Application form, personal statement and essay are required to be filled in with electronic format, please putting all of electronic documents into a file named after “applicant’s name+student number+college), after finishing the application form please print it out and hand it in with other necessary documents. Handwriting form will be not allowed to submit.

Notice: Student Affairs Department will submit recommendation list of candidates (the number will be more than 10% of applicants who are allowed to be awarded) to Department of Education and Department of Finance of GuangdongProvince. The Awarding List of scholarship will be ultimately confirmed by the above departments.

六、说明

    1. 请学院填写好推荐学生申请表中“第15项学习主要课程及效果评价”部分，并按学生的个人成绩及综合表现进行排序填写学院汇总表，汇总表中学生姓名格式为：英文名+（中文名），其中英文名的格式为首字母大写，字体使用Times New Roman ，字号可根据内容进行相应调整。例如：“Jim Green（吉姆·格林）”或“Simon Zhang（西蒙）”，如无中文名，则不填，即：“Jim Green”；

    2.院系受理学生的申请材料后，对学生的实际情况进行审核，并整理好学生的纸质版及电子版材料（注意填写好学生申请表的第15项学习主要课程及效果评价、导师或班主任评语及意见、就读院系推荐意见），学生将成绩单补齐后，结合学生的在校表现评选出推荐候选人；

3. 各学院需要报送的推荐材料包括：学生《申请表》（学院签好推荐意见加盖公章）、成绩单（研究生院打印版本）、在读证明、护照复印件、汉语能力证明及学院推荐《汇总表》（学院主管领导签字并加盖公章）原件各一份，《申请表》叠放顺序请按照《汇总表》排序，并用铅笔在首页右上角注明序号；《申请表》、《汇总表》各一份，《申请表》文件名请按照推荐学生人选在《汇总表》中的序号+英文姓名（中文姓名）格式。

    4. 申请学生如经批准获奖，学校将根据其学号所对应的银行账号统一发放奖学金。
